About Me

I’m a UX Designer and Engineer with a foundation in lighting design for live music, a degree in film and video production, and hands-on experience building both digital interfaces and physical systems. My background spans user experience, electronics, CAD modeling, and embedded design — giving me a unique ability to bridge the gap between hardware precision and human-centered design.

In live events, timelines are tight, stakes are high, and failure isn’t an option. I thrived in that environment — designing, programming, and maintaining large-scale lighting and control systems while leading crews and managing productions from concept to execution. That’s where I learned to balance creativity with technical reliability and developed my obsession with designing tools that just work — even under pressure.

Today, I bring that same mindset to digital products. My process blends research, prototyping, and systems thinking with the same engineering rigor I apply to circuit design. I’ve designed end-to-end UX projects, created high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and Adobe XD, and built functional hardware products like compact DMX consoles and battery-powered LED systems from PCB to enclosure.

I hold a Google UX Design Professional Certificate and stay hands-on with emerging tools — from AI-assisted ideation and usability testing to embedded prototyping — to keep my work both innovative and grounded in real-world use. Whether I’m designing user flows, programming microcontrollers, or refining an interface, I approach every project with the same mindset I brought to live shows: adaptable, collaborative, and focused on delivering when it matters most.

I design with purpose. I build with users in mind. And I ship like the show’s already started.
